The Good Fight Of Faith “Fight the good fight of faith…” I Timothy 6:12

I. We must fight against Temptations Temptation = enticement, lure James 1:2-5  fall into various trials  produces patience

“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,” 1 Pet.1:6 1 Cor. 9:27 - keep the body in subjection

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Cor. 10:13 Exit

James 1:14 “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.”

II. We must fight Worldliness Romans 12:1,2  be not conformed to this world  be ye transformed Metamorphosis

IV. We must fight False Doctrine 2Pet. 2:1 “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
