Dr. John D. Barge, State School Superintendent “Making Education Work for All Georgians” Contracts and Payment Contracts have been approved. A digital copy will be provided to you via within 5 days. If you are not going to be using your school please provide your alternative at this time. You must sign the contract using the name that appears on your tax return (remember this if you happen to go by a middle or nick name). Please scan the signed contract and return to Kimberly Lacewell (she will be the one sending it to you). You may not participate in any rehearsal or other preliminary contractual activities until this is received. The total compensation for the project is $900 per site. This amount is to include all your travel and hotel expenses including meals (though lunch will be provided at each site).

Dr. John D. Barge, State School Superintendent “Making Education Work for All Georgians” Contracts and Payment Scope of Work Contractor will work with a partner to design a professional learning module to be delivered at the ELA CCGPS Summer Teacher Training Institutes for the academic year. Presenters will deliver a draft training module to include Overview, Objectives, and Learning Targets. A guiding PowerPoint or Prezi will be developed and all activities delineated and described. Handouts and other instructional materials will be identified and provided for photocopying. (The DOE will make photocopies and bring them to the site. We can also provide other supplies as necessary, such as chart paper, markers, sticky notes, etc. ) Presenters will arrive no later than 7:45 am to the presentation site(s). Contractors will attend the plenary/opening session and will conduct three (3) workshops with their partner at each event for which they are contracted. Contractors will remain on-site for a debriefing with DOE staff at the conclusion of the workshop from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. The honorarium has been calculated to include the cost of an overnight stay, even though this is not required. Should a contractor fail to make it to the site for any reason, the contract will be considered voided.

June or June are available dates for rehearsals. Presentation dates: July 10, 12, 16, 17

We would like to do this on site at the DOE, but we may do this via Skype or we may come to your site. We understand that you can’t give your entire summer over to this, so we will choose these dates asap and will be flexible.
