Objectives Students will be able to locate each Australian territory with 100% accuracy. Students will be able to give 2 characteristics of each territory. Students will discuss Australian life and their culture, and be able to cite important facts in both.

Activities Students will create a collage with a given territory, using materials that are supplied by the teacher. (magazines, paper, & markers) Given a certain territory, the students will find a book and do a report on what they have learned. Students will get into groups and create a skit with the information they gather to help the other students learn. Given a map of Australia, the students will use colored pencils and color each territory.

Activities ctd. Students will complete a crossword puzzle which is based on the Aussie vocabulary. A word search will be given to the students with important vocabulary terms for this unit.
