© 2007 Ideal Industries 2 of 32 Intro To Ideal 800 Power Analyzer Objective of Demo Gain a understanding of the Analyzer and Software. –Interactive or real time measurements –Setting up for Data logging –Download of data and Software This presentation was done using a hair dryer as a load, and a line splitter with a standard DMM test lead set for quick and easy set-up. This was done for demonstration purposes to get familiar with the analyzer before attaching analyzer to an unknown circuit. (Hair dryer is not in Demo Case)

© 2007 Ideal Industries 3 of 32 Intro To Ideal 800 Power Analyzer Simple Set-up To For Learning the IDEAL Analyzer. Attach the Black lead to N input and the Red lead to the VL1 input of the analyzer. Connect the leads to the 2 test point holes on the line splitter, and plug splitter in to a 120V receptacle. Attach one of the clamps to the IL1, then clamp around the x10 loop of the line splitter. Use a hair drier as a load.
