 They are going extinct  They do not believe in land ownership  They do not hold deeds or titles so the government can force them off the land  Some have been arrested or killed

 Two acres of tropical rain forest are destroyed every second  This endangers lives and cultures of indigenous tribes  When the Kayapo Indians of Brazil met with the U.S Congress to protest the damming of the Amazon River, they were accused of being traitors
