What is Globalization?  Globalization refers to the process of increasing integration of economies and societies throughout the world  There are many different types of globalization. We will focus mostly on economic.

How?  Globalization is NOT new but the speed at which it is occurring is a new phenomenon because of…  Improved technology and communication networks  Social Networking  Improved means of transportation  This has lead to the concept of the global village  The world is getting “smaller” and is highly interconnected
