Transportation Inefficient Cars: Hummer Diesel Efficient Cars: Hybrids Chevy Volt Electric

–By choosing the type of transportation can really affect the carbon foot print of the world. –By choosing a hybrid or an electric car over a full gassed or diesel car will successfully reduce the need of fossil fuels that put out carbon dioxide.

Energy Proof Your Home Switch from incandescent to compact florescent light bulbs. Compact florescent light bulbs use about 75 percent less energy than our normal light bulbs and last much longer. Unplug appliances that you don't use frequently. Proper insulation in your home can have a huge impact on your heating and cooling bill if done right.

Bottled Water Try using reusable bottles because in landfills plastic bottles take years to decompose and as it decomposes it releases toxins in to the atmosphere. Just taking the time to recycle the bottles can reduce the carbon foot print and be reused in other products to help decrease the cost of materials.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Everyday we throw our garbage away and it ends up in land fills where the trash is burned sending gases in to the atmosphere. But if the time is taken to just sort the small things out such as bottles, plastic, and paper it can create a huge impact in the landfills. Just reusing some everyday objects could help in the process of cutting back on manufacturing of bottles and other recyclable items.
