Objectives ° Save time ° Reduce causes of defects ° Improve working condition ° Make the wok place safer cleaner and more efficient ° Define and respects efficient rules ° Build the foundations for continuous improvement

1 Seiri: Organization Means: –to remove all the items not needed –to organize the remaining items

2 Seiton: Neatness Means: - to arrange needed items so that they are easy to find and use. - to ergonomically improve the work place to increase performance NON FICTION TECHNICAL FICTION

3 Seiso: Cleaning Means - to clean and maintain cleanliness of area and machinery

4 Seiketsu: Standardization Means: - to provide time for employees to maintain and improve work areas. - to observe and correct causes of dirt, leaks and spills. - to establish house- keeping monitor.

5 Shitsuke: Discipline. Means: - to make 5S part of the company culture - to get people working towards the company objectives.

Conclusion. The sixth S: Shikkari Yarou Let’s try it hard. The success of your program and the increasing of the performance of your organization will essentially depends of your determination and your motivation to achieve initial objectives.
