OUR TRADITIONAL WELCOMING CEREMONY The bread and salt ceremony is a welcoming ceremony. When important, respected or admired guests arrive, they are presented with a loaf of bread and salt. The bread is presented by young men and women dressed in national costumes. Local traditions

Christmas Eve Carols People wander from house to house singing carols, playing the shepherd's flute and saying humorous verses. Each person carries a small woven bag around the neck.

SHEEP MEASUREMENT It is a custom beginning in the middle of May, when shepherds gather their sheep and, according to an ancient ritual, they milk them and measure the quantity of milk produced. The order for the sheepfold is established, as well as the order for shepherds and cheese. Everything is done in a festive atmosphere.
