Smoking is where you buy cigarettes (rolled up tobacco) and light it and take a drag and smoke. It is addictive as it includes something called nicotine which the brain craves once it is got used to. Cigarettes are a stimulant drug, this means that it stimulates the brain. The nicotine in the cigarettes sticks to the carbon monoxide cells therefore it blocks up your veins, therefore there is less room for the oxygen cells. So smoking, What is it?

Cannabis is an illegal drug and a consequence of getting caught with it can result in five years in jail! It is made from a cannabis plant and a natural occurring drug. It is the most common illegal drug used and is a stimulant and a hallucination drug. Cannabis comes in different forms: powder, oil, pipe and leaves. So what is Cannabis?

Some people may feel chilled out, relaxed and happy, while others have one puff and feel sick. Others get the giggles and may become talkative. Hunger pangs are common and are known as 'getting the munchies'. Users may become more aware of their senses or get a feeling of slowing of time, which are due to its hallucinogenic effects.

Alcohol comes in a liquid form, and usually drunk and parties and celebrations. Drink too much and you become drunk! It is a depressant which means if you have only a little bit, it makes you feel happy. After that night you have a hangover. A hangover is where you become grumpy and lazy with a throbbing headache.
