 Individual focus credits are courses you choose to take that are not included in the specific course areas for graduation.  They can be from any area.

 English - 4 years  Math - 4 years  Science - 4 years  Foreign Language – 2-4 years

Guaranteed admission to 5 of the Board of Regents Schools  Complete the Qualified Admissions or Kansas Scholars Curriculum (PPG Page 6) with a 2.0 GPA. (A 2.0 or high on any college credits earned during high school is also required.) AND 1 of the following  ACT score of 21  SAT score of 980 or  Graduate in the top one-third of your class K State Wichita State Emporia State Fort Hays State Pittsburgh State

 Complete the Qualified Admissions or Kansas Scholars Curriculum (PPG Page 6) with a 2.0 GPA. AND  overall GPA and 24+ ACT (1090+ SAT) OR  overall GPA and 21+ ACT (980+ SAT) A 2.0 or high on any college credits earned during high school is also required.

 Teachers have applications (only two per semester)  One aide position per semester

 Students are receiving the following enrollment materials:  USD 233 Program Planning Guide  Enrollment worksheet with available classes  Individual audit indicating courses completed in each graduation category.  Step by step instructions on how to enroll.  Students will enroll at home with parents  Students should talk with their teachers about enrollment questions.  Counselors are available to answer questions when students make course selections in the computer lab.

 Teachers in certain academic subjects will discuss and recommend next year’s courses. (for example, Math, Science, English)

 It is USD 233 School Board Policy for all students to enroll in a full 7-hour school day.  You must enroll in 7 credits and 4 alternative courses.

JUNIOR (Class of 2016):  January 16 th – Junior Enrollment Presentation (Auditorium)  January 22 nd – Junior Open Lab During Seminar (counselors will be available, in the writing lab, to any junior needing help with enrollment)  January 23 rd - Junior Enrollment Deadline SOPHOMORE (Class of 2017):  January 20 th – Sophomore Enrollment Presentation (Auditorium)  January 29 th – Sophomore Open Lab Seminar (counselors will be available, in the writing lab, to any sophomore needing help with enrollment)  January 30 th – Sophomore Enrollment Deadline FRESHMAN (Class of 2018):  January 27 th – Freshman Enrollment Presentation  February 5 th – Freshman Open Lab Seminar (counselors will be available, in the writing lab, to any freshmen needing help with enrollment)  February 6 th – Freshman Deadline
