GreenWays Initiative - Objectives Help local institutions implement greenways programs Build organizational capacity to engage in greenways projects Build awareness of the benefits of greenways (throughout the 7 counties of SE MI)

GreenWays Initiative Total of more than 125 grants awarded Total of $15,800,000 awarded 100+ miles of trail will be constructed Connects more than 80 communities – approximately 1/3 of the region
