Herschel/Planck January 13, 2005PACS IQR - SCI-PT/ Herschel Status Herschel Payload Module CDR completed in July and Space Segment CDR completed in October with official close-out end 2004 Herschel EQM - Ready for Herschel CQM Focal Plane Units. All Herschel Instruments: HIFI, PACS and SPIRE have successfully completed CQM Instrument Level Tests. All instruments delivered and in ASED OTN. (N.B. SPIRE to be returned 17 th January) Instrument testing to commence April 2005 Instrument FM program underway – Baseline delivery Nov 2005

Tank integrated on framework. Both fully integrated Cylinder thermal shields delivered-Others completed CVV cylinder delivered-Upper and lower bulk head imminent. Integration to be completed by May 2005; first cool-down with MTD instrument prior to shipment to ESTEC for STM campaign
