Focus for the year at JDPS Our main focus this year is reading. Talk boost – speaking and listening Using computing in the creative curriculum

Year Two Used the book The Zoo to create a radio drama. Children added in their own sound effects. Great for: Speaking and listening Reading PSHE (Turn taking)

Year Five Taught the basics of audacity Used singing assembly songs to practice trimming. Editied Year 2’s work. Great for: Computing skills Being accurate Editing and checking Appreciating younger years.

Year Four Taught the basics of audacity Split into 3 groups Rehearsed radio drama’s and recorded themselves. Editied own work using audacity Downloaded and inserted sound FX
