Getting behind great local ideas Porchfield Community Association in Liverpool – awarded £5,350 in July 2012 through Awards for All Enabled them to add digital inclusion to their activities, which consultation had revealed a demand for Computer classes, including how to use Skype and price comparison sites Success bred confidence and in 2013, Porchfield made a successful bid for £109,091 from Reaching Communities to expand upon their activities

Putting communities at the heart of our funding

Working with others Public sector funding to parks set to fall 60% over the next decade – so new models needed to sustain them Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund have both funded parks in delivery of their missions Joined up with Nesta, an innovation charity, to deliver a £1million grant fund 11 projects announced in July 2014 – innovating new ways of generating income and making parks sustainable
