Problem and Solution to Tornadoes By: The Master Minds: Halen Toney, Maesa Anderson, Olivia Justice, Mahogany Taylor, Kristina Holt, Nia Fletcher, and Autumn Jennings

Our Problem There are 80 tornadoes per year in Canada, usually there are 2 deaths and 20 injuries. Tornadoes usually accrue on a hot afternoon.

What Is A Tornado? A tornado is a violent rotating column of air that moves quickly and sucks things up that is why they are a problem in our conutry. This natural disaster is in contact with both of the surface of the earth and a cumulonimbus cloud or, in rare cases, the base of a cumulus cloud. They are often referred to as twisters .

Tornadoes Tornadoes can damage buildings, and living things.

Our solution Our solution is to invent a device that you could clip or stick on your clothes. The device will tell you if a tornado is nearby and what to do.
