How do you define success? Is it working hard and attaining wealth or is it doing something good for someone else or for mankind in general? Can you be successful without truly being happy? To achieve success you must define it for yourself.

The secret of success is that there’s success in everyone, but it lies hidden within your own mind. A few people were just born knowing so that they have to develop it, but most of people don’t. Some of them are satisfied with their predictable cozy life and let it managed by others, while the others have high goals to achieve, love competition and to manage their own life properly.

In order to be a successful individual it’s important to have strong internal qualities, but also to take care of your physical aspect. You have to pay attention the way you dress, the way you walk, the way you look in general.

For example, it’s elementary when you go to an interview to look nice, to be presentable so that you make a good first impression to the person you are talking with. Most of the time, the first impression is very important in getting a job (a shop-assistant or flight-attendant).

To be a good professional you have to love what you are doing, to be devoted to your job, to put the best of you in your work. Another ability which can helps you most of the time is to be capable to manage people around you and various situations, to be in control of yourself and to have the power of will. A tricky thing is always to turn the situation on your favor.

For example… Doctors never stop learning and they are always ready and prepared to help people in need. They are devoting a lot of their time and energy to this job.

To succeed in accomplishing something, you have to : Know exactly which your goals are; Establish well the priorities; Focus your attention on the most important things; Be smart, open-minded; No matter how much you are helped by someone, you have to be intelligent, to have the ability of choosing between good and bad. You can’t live on others’ shoulders forever !!!

He must be able to keep people close, to make them feel, think and work like a team !!! (team builder) listen to others’ advice and opinions; do the same amount of work as the rest or the group; get to a compromise when necessary in order to settle a conflict;
