Welcome Back!! English II April 8 th – 12th

Creative Writing Day! Think about yourself as a writer. What are you good at (vocabulary, grammar, spelling, being creative, etc.)? What are your weak points? Why do you think they are weak points and how can you overcome them? Tell what you just thought about yourself to your partner. Be ready to share! Grab a self-assessment worksheet from the front & fill it out – be honest!

Let’s Get Creative! Today we are going to work on being better creative writers. We’ll write a story step-by- step, and then help each other edit. The story you will write is called: “False Charge – A Detailed Account of a Dangerous Situation”

Self - Editing When the writing time is up, make sure that you review the self-editing checklist to catch your mistakes!
