What is a chat show??? List all of the chat shows you can think of….

“a television or radio show in which guests, especially celebrities, are interviewed informally” The purpose of a chat show is to The host needs to draw out information from the guest in an entertaining way. Guests may come on the show to publicise or “sell” their latest show or film. ENTERTAIN general public + studio audience

Basically questions and answers within strict time limits. The host is on home turf and presents the show regularly. Guests will find it less familiar and may come on with different expectations.
