California Change in Term Limits Initiative Reduces the total number of years a state lawmaker can serve from 14 to 12. Allows full service in one house, if re-elected. Applies only to legislators first elected after the measure is passed. Qualified for 2012 ballot, but may move up to proposed June 2011 election. OCBC supported the CA Forward platform that included this term limit provision in Proponents: Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles County Federation of Labor/AFL-CIO, California Common Cause, Majestic Realty Opponents: None at this time.
