What is an Interactive Notebook? A tool to strengthen the learning process through increased student participation & writing Creative way used at home & in class daily to help you learn chemistry Uses both the right and left brain

Right Side Of The Notebook Will Be Used For New Information Lab Data Demonstration Observations Vocabulary Writing Prompts This is your INPUT! All the information you are supposed to learn!

Left Side Of The Notebook Will Be Used For Showing Understanding Analysis & Conclusion parts of labs Demonstration Explanations Vocabulary Thinking Maps Reflections to Writing Prompts This is your OUTPUT!

How to SETUP your Notebook! Put your NAME & PERIOD on the outside of the book. A copy of a periodic table will go on the inside cover of the notebook. The first page will be the cover page for the book. Place your Name and Period.

How to SETUP your Notebook! Glue in the lab equipment sheets between the back of the 1 st page and the front & back of the 2 nd page. Estimate the half way point and tab it. The second half will be where you display your work when doing QUEST. The right side will only be odd number pages and the left will only be even number pages. Begin your first lab on page 7!
