Wine anyone? We learned that Pinot Noir is the best choice when it comes to drinking wine. It has the most resveratrol which may decrease heart disease, prevent cancer and strengthen the immune system. Let’s toast to good health! Read more: are-the-health-benefits-of-drinking-a-little-pinot-noir- wine-every-day/#ixzz1gWmrLqTwhttp:// are-the-health-benefits-of-drinking-a-little-pinot-noir- wine-every-day/#ixzz1gWmrLqTw

Cheese anyone? Sometimes it’s so easy to go overboard while snacking on cheese. Here we discussed the best types of cheese to eat and how to help control your portion size.

What do you cook with? Oil, butter, wine, cooking spray, or vinegar? We talked about what’s better to cook with and substituting healthier options for baking.

Vegetables and Fruits We compared different fruits, weighed the nutritional value of vegetables and found out how much sugar is in “fruit” juices. Bottom line: eat the fruit, skip the juice!

Love Bread? Eating too much bread can ruin any weight loss program. So we got down and dirty learning how many calories, sugars, fiber, and protein the bread we eat should have. We also gave alternatives to satisfying the “bad” carb cravings!
