PERSONAL PERCEPTIONS WITHIN CULTURE Uncertainty and Anxiety Uncertainty is a state of being unsure of something, unsettled or in doubt or dependent on chance in unstructured situations. Uncertainty causes anxiety – a diffuse state of being uneasy or worried about what may happen.

Ethnic identity is the sameness of a band or nation of people who share common customs, traditions, historical experiences, and in some instances geographical residence.
