Where are we located? l Main entrance “Teorifagbygget” house 2 l Next to the MIX kiosk l Second floor (below Studentsamskipnaden)

What do we do? l Help students connect to the University’s network, either on campus (wireless) or through the access at the student hostel l Provide software and limited support (see booklet) l Use of provided software is at own risk

User accounts (to get access) l Your user account gives you access to: Computers at campus, an account, file storage area, the wireless network on campus (Eduroam) and internet from your student hostel apartment 1.Get user name 2.Get your password (both are issued at the International Office) 3.Logg on to your account Remember to accept the conditions for the account!

We will not… l Make changes to your computer, install software, install drivers, install extra peripherals etc. If you bring your laptop to the office we might take a look at it to identify your problem and give you advice on how to solve it. l Leave the office to solve a local problem If the problem has to be solved locally we will contact the local computer department (usually the faculty that owns the failed resource, or UNIT)
