Human Geography

WHERE, WHY and HOW COME helps them to gain an understanding of geographic phenomenon where geographic phemenenon is located on earth why it is located in that particular place. e.g. Where is a city located? Why is it located on that particular spot on earth and how come people choose to live there.

‘global village’ the term suggests that the earth is small and tightly knit

interconnection of geographic phenomenon? The earth is interconnected on a variety of levels when one aspect to the earth’s system is altered it has a ripple affect on the earth and the people, animals and resources found on the earth.

How are global issues and human geography potentially connected? many global issues affect the entire planet

developing country is experiencing steady population economic growth but still lack high standards of living.

What approximate trend has occurred in world population over the last 2000 years? population has grown dramatically from several million to over six billion. Some places - gradual population growth overall trend - steady growth some places rapid population growth.
