Cross Fell ShelterBox Challenge Objective To raise the awareness of ShelterBox To raise enough funds to purchase 100+ ShelterBoxes
The Initiative To set up a ShelterBox encampment for one week during mid summer on the top of Cross Fell and invite local business leaders and dignitaries to stay the night at the fee of £490 ( one ShelterBox )

Planned Assistance The Army – Field Kitchen & Latrines Air Sea Rescue – Sea King drop Hoteliers – Chefs Publicity – BBC / ITV Mountain Rescue – Safety Support
6 Shelter tents with accommodation for 12 paying guests. Encampment
Subsistance Each paying participant would receive Overnight accommodation, dinner and breakfast. A sleeping bag. A Cross Fell Shelterbox waterproof jacket. A certificate confirming completion of the challenge. A ShelterBox allocation number.
District Club Input All we do want is the name of a Business leader, Celebrity or Dignitary known to your Club that is willing to enjoy the Challenge … of sleeping with fellow (ess’es) for a night
Invitations We would then issue an invitation in Spring 2009 and handle all the subsequent correspondence, joining formalities etc.
