Procedures Drop-off ~Buses or walking are ENCOURAGED as primary transportation ~Drop off is in FRONT entrance of building at 8:45am ~PM student drop off is at door 22 12:35pm ~Student MUST remain with an adult until signed in at front door ~If arriving AFTER 9:00 am or 12:45 pm, you must buzz in at main entrance and sign child in at the office Pick-up AM: 11:45/PM 3:20 ~Students being picked up MUST have a note sent to school with: ** first & last name and room number clearly labeled. ~AM Parents will pick students up at door 22. ~PM Parents will pick students up in the front of the building. ***Reminder: You will not exit your car when picking up your child. ~Please place poster in car window if a “car rider.” ~Please have ID ready.

Procedures continued… Birthdays & Invitations ~ Birthday Books (donation of book to classroom library) ~Non-edible treats ~Invitations to ALL students or ALL boys or ALL girls *class directory will be distributedSnacks ~SMALL & HEALTHY-sugar can’t be 1 of first 3 ingredients ~Should be independently opened & able to be consumed in about 5 minutes ~We are a peanut-free class (airborne peanut allergies-please be cautious) ~ Lunch Boxes are not necessary (do not fit in cubbies)Supplies ~No wheeled backpacks/ Backpacks should be large enough to fit folder ~pencil box with 8-pack washable thick markers, crayons, & glue sticks, pencils ~homework supplies (pencils, crayons, glue & scissors)

First Day of School *Students should bring BOTH --yellow bus tag attached to book bag AND --nametag (given out today) on their shirt *Students will be escorted by staff off of buses to classroom teachers in the lobby *Parents will NOT be permitted to escort students to classrooms *Counselors will be on hand for students if needed ***Enthusiasm is CONTAGIOUS!***

(located at each table). –If you have a concern or need to speak prior to the first day, please fill out an orange index card and hand it to me! –Feel free to fill out any paper and leave it with me. Otherwise please return all paperwork next week in your child’s folder n Complete the scavenger hunt located in the folder n Practice riding the school bus n Enjoy a snack and items in the lobby
