My Favorite Things Quilt

How I Created My Kid Pix Quilt My Kid Pix quilt represents many things I enjoy. To make this quilt I used several different drawing tools from the presentation program, Kid Pix Deluxe Studio. First, I clicked on a tool called an eggbeater. When I selected this tool and clicked in the center of the screen, it created twenty five boxes. I then took the paint can and created a pattern with two colors. I then selected stamps of some of my favorite things. These stamps were edited by me and added to the quilt. By using the “Control” and “Shift” key I changed the sizes of the stamps before adding them to my pattern. One thing I really enjoy is having a dog, so I picked two dogs for my quilt. The big dog reminds me of my dog Rusty. I picked the poodle, the bones, and the paws because they look cute with the dogs. I like to pick flowers at my Dad’s house, so I also chose flowers for my quilt. You should try making a quilt too, its lots of fun!

My Favorite Book Cat’s Cake is a book about a cat that bakes cakes. The funny thing about the book is that all different animals put their favorite food into a cake. Everyone except the donkey thought the cake tasted yucky.

My Favorite Sport Cheerleading and playing basketball at the Franklin YMCA are so much fun. I also like the Boston Celtics. They are a wonderful team and try very hard. I like to watch the Celtics with my dad.

My Favorite Movie The Lion King is a great movie. Everyday after I do my homework I watch this movie. On television, I watch Cube O station. My favorite cartoon is Rescue Heroes.

My Favorite Food Chicken fingers and French fries are my favorite foods to order at the 99 Restaurant. That’s my favorite restaurant. I go there with my family all the time. You get to snack on popcorn before you get your food.
