16 th president. Served 1 st term and died during 2 nd term. Jacob 4 th grade

 Born: February 12,1809 in Hodgenville, Kentucky.  Died: April 15, 1865 at Petersen’s Boarding School.  He was 52 when elected in  His political party was a Republican.  He had four kids.  He made slaves free.

 His parent were Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Lincoln his sisters name was Sarah Lincoln his baby brothers name was Thomas Jr, sadly he died as a baby.  Nancy died October 1818.

 Abe was married to Sarah Bush.  He had 4 kids.

 Abe Lincoln was against James K Polk in the election.  His vice president was Hannibal Hamlin and Andrew Johnson.

 Abe tried to ban slavery in the territories they gained in Mexico however this law did not pass.  This is important because it was a law in need of use

 Abe was awarded the Medal Of Honor award.  An accomplishment he made was freeing slaves.

 Abe ended slavery.  Abe loved books.  Abe was in the Civil War.  Abe's nick name is Honest Abe.
