Current Problem - How to track resources - What manpower is available - What supplies are available - Where are the resources

Knowledge -Knowing what resources are available -Knowing abilities of manpower resource -Knowing where resources are at in relationship to disaster area -Knowing what agencies would need what information regarding resources available

Command Center Command Center

The Command Center’s function is to provide communications between the system and agencies that may be called upon to aid in times of disaster. The other function is to provide a way for resource allocation information to be available to decision makers and users of the system on a real time basis.

Resources Resources are what can help in times of disasters. The types of help and the availability of the help are the focus of this project.

Resource Allocation in the past - Shows what was used for that disaster - Shows what resources should be on hand - Shows what agencies would need to be available - Shows what agencies have contributing information

Conclusion: In conclusion the history and data research of implementing the Resource Allocation module of the Command Center into the DMCS would provide a major benefit to the current system that currently is non existent. This is only the first step towards future design, modules and enhancements of the DMCS.
