Developing skills in physical activity Refine and adapt skills into techniques. E.g. to develop the technique of serving in tennis you need to co-ordinate the throw up of the ball, and your body and arm movements to strike the ball

Developing skills in physical activity You also need to develop a range of different skills. E.g. in circuit training

Developing skills in physical activity You also need to develop precision, control and fluency in skills. E.g. shooting in basketball Practise, practise, practise!

Making and applying decisions Ability to select and use tactics, strategies and compositional ideas effectively in different creative, competitive and challenge-type contexts

Choose the right skills to show the judges in a gymnastics floor routine

Refine and adapt ideas and plans in response to changing circumstances Refine and adapt ideas and plans in response to changing circumstances. E.g. put on an extra forward if you are losing with not long to go.
