China: Shang, Zhou, Mandate of Heaven, Qin (Legalism), Confuciansim, Daoism, Han, Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming Japan: Yamato, Heian, Nara, feudalism Korea: Silla North Africa: Egypt, Alexander the Great (Hellenism) – (Ptolemic Dynasty of Egypt Sub-Saharan Africa: Banut, Kush, Axum, (West African Kingdoms – Ghana, Mali, Songhai), Mansa Musa
