Affiliations with National & International Agencies  Rayagada Vikas Samukhya, a district level federation in the Rayagada district  Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) department of Agriculture, Government of Odisha  National Institute for Development Innovation (NIDI ), BBSR a state level development Organisation  National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD)  National Alliance of Women Organization (NAWO)  International Crop Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics ( ICRISAT ), Hyderabad

Achievements Sustainable Livelihood :  Mobilized -300 farmers in 3 Gram Panchayats  Production- paddy maize & arhar increased by 15-20% ( , & ) Promoted 2 farm Schools supported by ATMA, Rayagada with provision for 56 farmers Demonstration of Pulses with ICRISAT, Hyderabad- covering 2795 Ha. land of 5053 farmers & ) Women Empowerment :  Promoted 89 women SHGs covering 1032 women IN 96 villages Supported by NABARD  The women SHGs and farmers clubs act as local peoples organization in programme execution  211 women SHG members have been imparted Capacity building training on SHG management and other aspects  Work experience on livelihood enhancement and strengthening entrepreneurship among women Education :  2 National Child labor Schools in 2 villages supported by labor Department, govt. of Odisha

Focus Areas Sustainable Agriculture  Practices with improved methods of farming  Livelihood improvement through increased production systems ( Paddy, Pulses and vegetables ) Health and Sanitation  The health care system needs to be strengthened and community health awareness programme be given importance  As the block is vulnerable in terms of epidemic such as diarrhea and dysentery during monsoon Women empowerment  Sharpening skills & knowledge of women on value addition of local produces (Agriculture and NTFP )
