Cooper River Clean Up Paper Mapping Procedures

Getting Started Each group will receive a paper map which will be marked off with their zone It’s important to familiarize yourself with your zone before getting on the water Once on the water, use markers from your map and the surrounding area to orientate yourself

Marking the Map We’re looking for four different things, and each has a different marking –  for garbage and debris –  for abandoned buildings –  for repairs needed –  for access points

Adding Your Data Keep the paper map safe! When we get back on land, we will teach you how to add this data to the computer! Remember to be safe and have fun!
