American Symbols Do You Know What American Symbols Are?

Do you recognize me? I  I am in Washington D.C.  I'm on the back of a penny.  I house the 16 th President.

I am the Lincoln Memorial.

What symbol is this?  We are helping Thomas Jefferson write a form.  We want to be independent from England.  We all signed it in 1776.

I am the Declaration of Independence.

Who’s office is This?  I’m the leader of our country.  My office is called the Oval Office.  My Office is in the White House.

I am the President’s Office

What bird am I?  I am found on the quarter.  I stand for strength.  I am on the Great Seal of the United States.

I am the Bald Eagle

What is my name?  I rang out in 1776 to proclaim liberty.  I live in Philadelphia.  I have a big crack, so I can no longer ring.

I am The Liberty Bell.

Who do I honor?  I am in South Dakota.  I am called Mount Rushmore.  On me is carved George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt.

I Honor the Presidents of The United Sates.

What is my name?  I live in New York City.  I was a gift from France.  I am a symbol of welcome to the United States of America.
