Interdependence Inquiry Lab

For Teachers: I collected hundreds of snails after it rained on a sidewalk near a downtown area. You can use any type of insects. Crickets are typically readily available Read the lab and have the kids figure this one out and have them bring their own containers.

Goal Do plant and animals reply on one another in order to survive? Supplies Snails/Insects Plants Jars and or clear containers Dirt water

Design a lab to test the interdependent relationship of animals and plants without harming the “animal”
