The Good Samaritan Programme  It began in September 2006 in four slums of Nairobi namely;  Korogocho  Mathare  Kayole  Kibera The programme has also reached four Provinces of Kenya. 11/13/2015Gods Word Open for All

 There have been a total of 16 TOT’s training a total of about 800 TOT’s  We have had about 120 decentralized workshops reaching out to a total of about 6000 people.  Through the Good Samaritan Programme we have a total of 8 active CBO’s formed that are supporting HIV & AIDS patients, caring for orphans, training people in the community on HIV & AIDS issues and responding to other community needs like water and food. 11/13/2015Gods Word Open for All

Mathare Community Resource Centre was formed after a TOT in  A Community Based Organization based in the Mathare slums of Nairobi Kenya. They are a humanitarian group that helps feed the children orphaned by HIV/AIDS, create awareness in the community, create support groups to help in counseling and provide Home Based Care for the people living with HIV/AIDS. 11/13/2015Gods Word Open for All

In 2009 three new Good Samaritan groups formed namely;  Good Samaritan Kakuyuni – this is a group formed in Kangundo following a decentralized workshop  MuGikuyu Self Help Group – this group was formed in Muran’ga after a TOT workshop  Kagisa Self Help Group - this group was formed in Muran’ga after a TOT workshop 11/13/2015Gods Word Open for All
