WHAT KIND OF TASK IS THIS? Combination of drama techniques to develop different skills. Main focus on vocabulary and communication Role Play: to show them a specific context in which they can use the vocabulary and to make them practice a real conversation involving listening comprehension and oral production Mime: to develop their corporal expressions and to remind them the new vocabulary Improvisation: with no much time to prepare the dialogues, they will have an opportunity to improvise in the second language and to produce beyond the textbook.
THE TASK Groups of 2 o 3 Sellers and customers From 3 to 8 minutes to prepare (depending on the level) Useful sentences- depending on the level Let's role play! Customers: mime or description, but they can’t say the specific words Seller: needs to remember to go on with the role play
