Goals…. GOALS FOR STUDENTS ARE: TO BECOME INDEPENDENT LEARNERS TO ACQUIRE A VARIETY OF STUDY SKILLS TO UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF SCIENCE TO BECOME CURRENT ON THE EVENTS OCCURRING IN THE FIELD OF SCIENCE TO MAKE REAL WORLD CONNECTIONS TO MASTER ALL SCIENCE CONCEPTS

Course Overview…. In seventh grade science, we will study fundamental concepts in the following topics: Earth’s Atmosphere Human Body Cells and Genetics Forces and Motion

Daily Supplies…. These supplies are REQUIRED daily: Science Interactive Notebooks (SIN) 3 or 5 subject Clear Tape Colored Pencil Highlighters Pen/Pencils ** USB/Flash-drive are recommended for some assignments

Classroom Expectations…. Be On Time Come to Class Prepared Take care of Personal Grooming Before Walking Through the Doors Complete All Assignments Be Respectful to EVERYONE

Work All work assigned is due the next day, unless stated otherwise. When I collect work out of the bins and it is not in there, it will be treated as Not Complete! Please make sure you put your name on YOUR PAPER! No name papers go in the late bin and will be counted as such. Projects are due on DUE DATES. I do not accept late projects under any circumstances. NO EXPCEPTIONS!!

Make Up Work If you are absent from class/school you will go to the S.I.N. bin, collect any missing assignment and turn in to the HOMEWORK BIN, not the late homework bin. The notes will be posted on the website with the SIN page. I will NOT remind you about your work.

TECHNOLOGY Devices…. Technology devices are used in this classroom as a reference tool or text, however inappropriate usage of your device will result in privileges being taken away. Cellphones and IPods/MP3 are not considered appropriate devices In This Class, therefore they are not allowed in the classroom. ** No device may be used during lecture/writing time
