ABSTRACT: ECE 477 Team Autonomous Rescue Vehicle Presented by Vipul Bhat Our team’s goal is to build a prototype of a robot that can autonomously find a person lost in challenging circumstances and lead him or her back to a safe location. The starting location of the robot will be considered the safe location for our purposes.

Packaging Constraints Traverse rugged terrain Lightweight and Sturdy Room for PCB and off chip peripherals Minimize cost Looks cool

Commercial Product MINDS-i Super Rover Kit Pros: The kit can be assembled into a 6x6 or 4x4 chassis. Independent suspension enhances all-terrain capability Vendor has plenty of upgrades/add-ons available such as remote transmitter modules, solar panel upgrade modules, etc. Cons: The chassis might not have enough room for our PCB and customized add-ons. The chassis and upgrades are extremely expensive ( Super Rover kit price : $ )
