Marshmellow Moon Phases Tuesday, November 23rd

Marshmellow Moon Phases We have all seen the different shapes of the moon- but did you know that the moon really never changes shape? All that is different is the amount of light reflected onto the moon’s surface. This is what gives us our eight moon phases!! 

Full Moon Last Quarter Moon 1st Quarter Moon Waxing Gibbous Moon Waning Gibbous Moon Waxing Crescent Moon Waning Crescent Moon A New Moon is when there is no sunlight reflecting on the moon- it looks as if there is nothing in the sky!

Marshmellow Moon Phases Our final Moon Phases Assessment was to create the moon phases out of marshmellows! We had to shape the marshmellows into all eight moon phases. When we were finished we were able to eat our creations!!  What a YUMMY quiz!!
