 What are the 8 phases of our Moon?

 What is the difference between a waxing crescent moon and a waning crescent moon?  What is a Blue Moon?  Why do we not see the Moon very well, if at all, during the New Moon phase?

 The origin of the Moon  The Moon’s orbit and how it affects Earth  The phases of the Moon  They will understand why the Moon looks the way it does during each of its phases.

 I believe that for this type of subject that a Constructivist Strategy would be best for the students to learn, understand and retain the information about the Moon’s Phases.
