STATE LEVEL SYMPOSIUM ON SOCIAL ISSUES

Sample Slide Show This is the sample slide show illustrating the format of presentation for QEST-09

TITLE OF THE TOPIC

CONTENTS Introduction Body sub-topics Conclusion

INTRODUCTION  Contains information of what actually the presentation mainly deals with.  The points must be as precise as possible enough to remind the speaker of what to speak.  Give your objectives(purpose, aim, goals).  Make a transition between introduction and body.  Better not to use heavy animations and designs.  Recommendations: font: times new roman, helvetica, arial, new century. Font size: 20-14

BODY OF PRESENTATION  The body of presentation is actually divided into several sub-topics to make it easy for analysis.  Pictorial representations will reduce the number of points and convey much more information, at the same time. You can even use background sounds.  The number of slides should be as minimum as possible (may range from 5 to 10).  The Maximum time allowed per paper for presentation is 10 min. and the topic will be open for improvements for 2 mins.

CONCLUSION  Conclusion is the part which forms a final opinion on the discussion.  It is recommended to write very few points in this section or not even that at all.  The following are the slides that ‘must’ be included in the presentation.

Thank You !
