Flash Card Games Make flash cards for sight words or addition and subtraction facts. Play war and see who is faster and gets the most. Play the match game with your cards.

Book Games Go on a hunt in the book for nouns, verbs, adjectives, short vowel words, silent e words, etc. Partner Read: read one page and have your partner read the next. Read your book with different voices.

Word Work Games Sort words by families, same sounds, rhyming, etc. Make mini books or flip books with words you know. Spell words with play dough, in shaving cream, in sand, etc.
