Civil Rights Journal Entries

TASK: For our unit on Civil Rights, you will be required to complete four journal entries. These entries will be written on lined paper (with a heading), and they will be numbered and turned in together. Each entry should consist of at least two paragraphs. Each paragraph must have three to four sentences. Please WRITE NEATLY!!!!

The Long Walk Home Journal Entry #1 In the movie The Long Walk Home, Odessa is the housekeeper for the Thompson family. Odessa has to overcome obstacles to fight for what she believes in. In your entry: 1.Explain hardships Odessa or Miriam faced in the struggle for equality. 2.Have you ever had to overcome hardships in order to fight for something that you believe in? Explain.
