Excel Charts

Column Chart The Column Chart will show the comparison of one or more series of data points. It is specially useful in comparing multiple data series.

Excel Charts Bar Chart The Bar Chart is like a Column Chart lying on its side. A bar chart is very useful if you are trying to record certain information whether it is continuous or not continuous data. Bar charts also look a lot like a histogram.

Excel Charts Line Chart A line chart or line graph is a type of graph, which displays information as a series of data points connected by straight line segments. The Line Chart is very effective in displaying trends.

Excel Charts Pie Chart The Pie Chart is a circular chart divided into sectors, illustrating proportion. It gives emphasis to a certain part of a whole.

Excel Charts Scatter Chart The purpose of a Scatter Chart is to observe how the values of two series compares over time or other category.

Excel Charts Area Chart Area Charts are like Line Charts except that the area below the plot line is solid. And like Line Charts, Area Charts are used primarily to show trends over time or other category.

Excel Charts Doughnut Chart A doughnut chart is functionally identical to a pie chart with the exception of a blank center and the ability to support multiple statistics as one. A simple pie chart is typically used to show the proportion of data within a single category. A doughnut chart may be used to show greater levels of detail across a single category of information.
