Our Mission We need to raise 2500 dollars to build a school in Eluaai, Kenya, to help educate the kids there so they can make a living. Highlands Kenya (right)

Masai Culture Of Kenya’s 42 tribes the Masai are one of the most well known.  Usually the Masai men go looking for green pastures for their cattle while the women take care of the children.  The general is poor. They drink milk from cows and blood too,and they eat meat for their nutrition.  Their houses are made of wood branches, cow dung (yes that’s what you think it is), and polythene paper

Ed Colina and Us  We are teaming up with Ed Colina to help raise the money to build Highlands Kenya.  The Ed Colina foundation supports three preschools and has multiple feeding programs in the Nairobi area so we thought they would be a good team mate.

Facts  getting to school is a problem for the Masai children, the nearest school is a five mile walk away.  Most children in Eluaai, don’t even go to school until they are 10 or 11  Once children go to school at age 10 or 11, they are far behind in their education, so they go to school with younger children. This is why we want to build a preschool, so kids will start their education early.

Girls education  Education for girls even harder in Eluaai, because they have to do chores before they have to walk the 5 miles to school  Any books, uniforms, or supplies the family has will go to the boy first.

Please donate for our school  The kids in Eluaai need a preschool because if they don’t have one near them they will not want to walk the 5 miles to the other school.  Also most kids don’t go to school in Eluaai till age 10. then they are behind the other kids their age and they have to go with younger kids which can really hurt their self esteem.
