Working with Images Introducing VoiceThread

What’s a VoiceThread Anyway? A collaborative, multimedia annotation tool Upload images, videos, print or other files People can comment on these materials using voice (with a mic or phone), text, audio file, or video (via a webcam).

Why Use VoiceThread? Free and easy to use Web-based, no downloads Student centered You control who comments and views All students are engaged and involved in the conversation Students have time to think about their comments before hand Can have multiple “conversation” threads going at the same time Ability to zoom in on parts of the image
