Engaging Fathers What are we doing at Somer Valley Children’s Centres ? Our vision- To be a fully father inclusive service that meets the needs of fathers through engaging, supporting and responding to their needs. How are we achieving this? 1) Access- Walk, Talk and Explore, groups, outreach 2) Communication- Consultations, letters, publicity, events 3) Environment- Images, resources 4) Training- Father awareness 5) Innovation 6) Leadership- Role models, supervisions, team meetings

Plans for the future - Further consultations with dads/males - Dads pack - Local events- Book Bugs Adventure - Male volunteers and Advisory Board members
