RDA: BSR-QUICK KALININGRAD : A RUSSIAN REGION, A EUROPEAN OPPORTUNITY “Qualification, Innovation, Cooperation and Keybusiness for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Baltic Sea Region” BSR – QUICK Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007 – 2013: Priority 1: Fostering of innovations across the BSR Support for innovation sources LP is the Hanseatic Parliament. Partners are 29 chambers as strong SME promoters, 8 universities as innovation promoters and 6 public administrations. The number of 44 partners is required to reach SMEs in 29 regions of all 11 BSR countries. Slide 6 of 28

RDA: BSR-QUICK: objectives & activities KALININGRAD : A RUSSIAN REGION, A EUROPEAN OPPORTUNITY 1.Strengthening innovations and improve support for SMEs: a) Further development of existing SME promoting network of the chambers from 11 BSR countries. b) Construction of a SME specific innovation-promoting infrastructure "Baltic Sea Academy" and development of cooperation between universities and SMEs. Ensure close cooperation of both networks c) Putting into action of comprehensive innovation concept and creation of innovation clusters, orientated specifically at SMEs and regional strengths. d) Lasting increase of the competitiveness and the productivity, realization of comprehensive product and process innovations and clear growth of R&D operations.
